About

Back in 2007 I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a double major in International Studies and History, both with a focus on the Middle East and politics.  I am now serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Morocco as a part of the “Community Health in Rural Morocco” program.  I arrived in Morocco on March 4, 2009, and, inshallah, I will be here in Tiznit Province until May 2011.

This is in fact my third and (hurray!) final assignment.  My original assignment to work as a Health and Community Development Work in the Republic of Kiribati fell through because of safety concerns within the country.  Then, my second assignment to work in Bolivia as a Microenterprise Development Volunteer was canceled on account of the current political unrest in the country.  Despite the craziness of life, I finally landed in Morocco and swore in as a PCV on April 29, 2009.

Of course, this website in no way reflects the official positions or preferences of the U.S. Peace Corps or the U.S. government.
