Feelin’ fall on my feet

December 9, 2010

This morning as I was walking up my road on my way out of town I had an enjoyable sensation. It was like I was feeling fall on my feet! A cool fall breeze was floating along the ground and since I was wearing sandals without socks, my toes got a happy surprise. Then I thought about how it’s funny how none of the rest of my body got to enjoy the fun feeling. Since I was wearing a skirt down to my ankles and a jacket that covered my arms to my wrists and the rest of me up to my neck, there was nowhere else for the air to greet me. Just like I miss the sun on my skin, I miss the seasonal breezes too. It’s a little tough sometimes when the conservative dress mandated by the local culture gets in the way of me and nature. But it’s worth it.
