I couldn’t let this one slip away:
In the middle of our conversation with my friend’s two Moroccan acquaintances, I commented in English that Lady Gaga was on the television. One of the men asked what I’d said, and as soon as I told him it was an American singer named Lady Gaga he responded with an immediate, “Lady Gaga, Mr. Go-Go.” Witty man, and another interesting take on bits of American culture.
